Step One (workshop day auditions)

If you have any questions or trouble applying - email our admissions team.

Please note that we will process your data in line with GDPR legislation and our privacy notice which is available here. By completing this application form you are confirming that you have read and understood the privacy notice.*

Step Two

You need to prepare for your audition with us.

The afternoon will run as follows:

  • Registration. Please bring photo ID.

  • Tour of our building (parents welcome)

  • Q&A (parents welcome)

  • Group Workshops - Musical Theatre, Dance and or Acting

  • Individual Presentations

  • You may be required to stay for an interview, or be invited to have an online interview.

PREPARATION

Please prepare the following:

  1. The 1 minute monologue or dance of your choice. Any style.

  2. A 1 minute song. Bring music cut to length on MP3. Bluetooth needed for music, unless you have your own speaker.
For both of the above you are welcome to submit additional video of you performing. Please email clips to Registrations@artemis-studios.co.uk. Please note - we are not hearing any songs from ‘Everybody’s Talking About Jamie’ currently.

Step Three

If you are applying for the full time course - once you have attended a workshop and interview - if you have met the criteria for study you will either be offered a conditional or unconditional place (or if we can't offer a place, we will offer advice on alternatives), or may invite you to further audition in person at another session. You have 14 days* from receiving an offer to accept a place (or 2 working days if applying for a waiting list place in August 2024)- if you miss this deadline we will offer your place to the next person on the waiting list.

If offered a place, GCSE Maths and English results MUST be shared on results day via email.

If you hold an EHCP we must review this (and it must be up to date, with the most recent review within the last 6 months). Our SENco will review the plan, and speak to your LEA about any additional support needs. Please note - this process is dependant on the response time of your LEA, and may mean delaying or deferring any place offered (academic and performance ability criteria apply to all students) until the next academic year if we are not provided with an up to date plans until July or August, or you missing the start of term in the current year. We are not able to enrol any student with an EHCP until the plan and support application has taken place and we are confident we can meet your needs.

*If you are re-auditioning as part of an invited recall in August we will require acceptance or refusal within 2 working days. If you are unable to accept, the place will be offered to another performer. If places are still available in September, you will have the chance of a second offer, subject to a waiting list.
