Lena is looking at her phone.

Jamie stands up, trowel in hand and notices that Lena is now in her garden.

Jamie attempts to take up a cool pose, but it’s a disaster.

Jamie relaxes again.

Jamie – Hey Lena.

Lena hears him but pretends not to as she has her headphones in.

Jamie – Lena.

Lena doesn’t respond.

Jamie - Lena.

Lena looks up, takes her headphones off, approaching the fence

Lena – Tell me you’re not gardening. My granddad gardens.

Jamie – I’m not gardening.

Lena – You’re holding a trowel.

Jamie – It’s the new must have accessory. I’m surprised you haven’t got one.

Lena smiles, amused.

Jamie – Actually, don’t tell anyone. But my little brother’s been making noises about wanting the big bedroom so I killed him. I was just burying him. I’m going to tell my parents he ran away.

Lena laughs.

Lena – Wanna jump over here and hang out.

Jamie – (feigning nonchalance) Sure, why not

Jamie hops over the fence and they sit down together.

Lena – So what you up to the rest of the day?

Jamie – Well I’m either going to charter a private jet and head off on a round the world adventure where I do James Bond style stuff, or I might help my nan put up an IKEA cabinet, it’s a tough call.

Lena – I ’d love to travel round the world.

Jamie – Me too. Actually I’ve got this plan that one day I’m gonna do it and write a blog called ‘Jamie’s here, you’re not.’ I thought I’d take selfies in front of

Lena - … every famous monument?

Jamie – Yeah, how did you know?

Lena – Cos that’s what I wanna do too. Only my blog’s gonna be called ‘Lena’s Luvvin it’

Both surprised to share the same dream. Inner voices, simultaneous.
