Musical Theatre Summer School
Free for 16-18 year olds!
£325 for 12-15 year olds (payable and booked through South Hill Park Arts Centre).
Join us for a Summer School like no other!
Held annually at the end of July and beginning of August in collaboration with South Hill Park, this summer programme offers young performers and technicians the chance to work on a full-scale musical production.
Courses Available:
Performers Course: Develop singing, dancing, and acting skills.
Technicians Course: Gain experience in stage management, lighting, and sound.
Funded spaces may be available for students aged 16–18. Depending on funding arrangements, participants may be required to complete a qualification as part of the course (for example Arts Award or RSL qualifications). Further details will be confirmed once funding has been finalised.
Funded places are not available to Artemis College students. Limited performance opportunity scholarships are available to any student enrolled at Artemis College – please speak to the Head of College to apply.
Ages 12-16: Younger students can join through South Hill Park. Course fee: £325 (subject to change).

Performance Days: 1st & 2nd August
Performance Times: 2:00pm and 7:00pm Each Day
What: Seussical The Musical
Working with a professional creative team, you’ll stage and perform a full-length musical in just two weeks!
For participants aged 16–18, there may also be the opportunity – or requirement, depending on funding – to complete a qualification alongside the course. Previous qualifications have included RSL Graded Musical Theatre Exams, Arts Awards, and Level 1 Certificates.
