Rosie Hill

Principal

Rosie was a student of Artemis founder Niki Robinson before beginning her own directing and producing career at the age of 15. Since then, she has worked across a vast range of plays, musicals, concerts and cabarets, developing extensive experience both onstage and behind the scenes.

After many years within youth theatre as a student, teacher and producer, Rosie completed a BA (Hons) in English Literature and Film Studies at the University of Southampton. In 2017, she completed postgraduate study at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, in association with the National Theatre.

Her professional experience spans a wide variety of roles across theatre, film and casting, including directing, producing and West End casting assistance. She has produced and directed five-star-reviewed productions at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, led multiple theatrical tours and worked with organisations including Grindrod Burton Casting, The Union Theatre and South Hill Park Arts Centre, as well as acclaimed practitioners Peter Polycarpou and Phil Willmott.

Alongside her professional work in the arts, Rosie has worked within prestigious educational institutions including Heathfield School and Wellington College, bringing her creative industry experience into educational settings.

Rosie was a founding member of the team that established Artemis College in 2018 and now serves as College Principal. She leads the College’s educational and creative vision, overseeing its specialist performing arts training and supporting learners as they progress to some of the UK’s leading drama schools, conservatoires and universities.
