BARE
Studio Theatre, South Hill Park, 14th-16th December 2023
Welcome to our 2023 Christmas show! Featuring two casts, the actors are a blend of our years 12 & 13, and our level 3 and 4 Gap students. Older performers mentor younger, and everyone has a chance to be part of something to really give team a challenge. They have had only a term to rehearse, and for many this is their first year with us and they are finding their feet and showing us just how great they are.
If you would like to see headshots of each of our cast, please visit our 2024 cast page. Each year in September the whole college has pictures taken as part of their enrolment, and these are used in our shows, public performances and in the press as the year unfolds.
We would like to take this chance to wish you a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all the Artemis Studios and College staff!
The Story
A group of high school seniors at a Catholic boarding school face issues of sexuality and personal identity. As they struggle to come to terms with who they are, and who the world thinks they should be, they seek answers from their Church, their friends, and ultimately, from within themselves. It’s rich, vibrant score draws on many styles of contemporary music.
