Our Taster Days are designed for learners in Years 10 and 11 who are considering studying at Artemis after school. It's your opportunity to experience a full day of professional performing arts training, work with our tutors and discover what life as an Artemis student is really like.
Whether you've already attended one of our Open Mornings or are looking for a more hands-on experience, our Taster Days will help you decide whether Artemis is the right place for you.

What Can I Expect?
Our Taster Days are practical, engaging and designed to give you a genuine insight into training at Artemis.
Throughout the day you'll take part in a range of classes led by our experienced teaching team, meet current learners and experience the friendly, supportive environment that makes Artemis so unique.
It's not an audition and there's no pressure to perform. Simply come along, get involved and enjoy the experience.
Who Can Attend?
Our Taster Days are open to learners currently in Years 10 and 11 who are considering applying to Artemis College.
To create an authentic training environment, Taster Days are for prospective learners only. Parents and carers are warmly invited to attend one of our Open Mornings, where they'll have the opportunity to meet staff, ask questions and learn more about the college.
What Should I Bring?
Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move in and suitable footwear for practical classes.
Don't forget to bring:
A packed lunch
A bottle of water

Following your audition, you'll receive one of four outcomes: an offer, a recall invitation, a place on our wait list, or a decline. We'll explain your outcome clearly and keep you informed throughout the admissions process.

No. You're welcome to attend a Taster Day without visiting an Open Morning first. However, the two events offer different experiences. Open Mornings are designed to give you and your parents or carers a full overview of Artemis, including course information, facilities, support services and the opportunity to ask questions. Many learners choose to attend both, using the Open Morning to gather information and the Taster Day to experience training first-hand before applying.

No. Taster Days are designed to help you experience life at Artemis. There is no assessment and attending a Taster Day does not form part of your audition.

A Taster Day costs £10 to reserve your place.
If the cost would prevent you from attending, please get in touch—we never want finances to be a barrier to experiencing Artemis.
