Carla, a highly qualified dance teacher who trains dancers of all ages and students to become new teachers, Carla began performing at a young age - appearing in West End shows, then followed her passion to specialise in dance.

Carla has worked with Little Mix for comic relief -Word up, Five, Cleopatra and other various bands. She has also danced at Wembley for the Football Coca cola cup final, Got to dance, BGT and Alesha Dixon street dance star.

In her early 20’s she founded Street Vibes Dance School were she has had dancers representing Team England for 6 years and are UK champions in all age divisions.

As a teacher, she has also worked with Italia Conti, Jane.A. Coleman, Redroofs, IDTA and many more.

Carla leads our full time dance course, and specialises in Street, Hip Hop, Commercial and Jazz. She also enjoys Tap, Ballet, lyrical and Contempory.

Carla joined us at Artemis College in 2022.

She joined Artemis Hip Hop in 2021, and built our hip hop teams back up from just 5 students post lockdowns, to three crews, 5 classes and waiting lists in places for dozens of children.

Carla is mum to dancer and influencer Tia, and footballer (and hip hop dancer) son Owen.
